"As you walk toward the main area, three ladies step out from behind the desk, bowing slightly as you approach.
"Sawadeeka!"
Your awkward self looks at the driver, unsure how to respond. Thankfully, he gracefully motions to show you what to do. He teaches you it's called a 'wai' - a traditional Thai greeting you'll soon come to recognize. You drop your bags, press your hands together, and tuck your chin in, maybe a little too much, trying to hide a cheeky smile. You pick up your bags again, feeling like you wasted their time, and continue forward."
